Creativity in the field of analytical science and technology with interest in analytical lifecycle management. You have a leading role in driving current and future analytical control strategies for launch and core projects ensuring long-term supplies to our patients.
The position is within Global Novartis Technical Operations (NTO). We play an essential role in the late phase delivery, launch and lifecycle management of small molecule drug substances.
Responsibilities
• Analytical lead for launch and lifecycle management of core registered projects in collaboration with multiple internal and external partners
• Management of product specifications including the design, development, validation, transfer and performance monitoring of analytical procedures/technologies to maintain state of art
• Maintain excellent collaboration with other project team members (e.g. laboratory teams, production experts, manufacturing science and technology, quality assurance, regulatory CMC, project leaders and expert colleagues)
• Design and plan analytical experiments. Interpret and report results in preparation for timely delivery of project milestones
• Support change control, preparation of the regulatory dossier and health authority inspections
• Support root cause investigations

Minimum Requirements
• MSc / PhD in pharmacy, chemistry or related field
• 3-5 years industrial experience
• Scientific curiosity with quality focus coupled with good project management skills
• Strong analytical chemistry skills (e.g. HPLC, LC-MS, GC)
• Motivated to perform in a highly dynamic environment
• Good knowledge of GMP (Quality control / Quality Assurance) and regulatory guidance
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Good IT skills
• Fluent in German / Good knowledge of English (spoken/ written)
• Knowledge of oligonucleotides a plus
