**How You'll Make an Impact**
In the role, you would be responsible for:
+ Analyzing Key Retail account business delivering impactful reporting and insights to support management and optimization of the business.
+ Managing Business _Scorecards_ , including insights on the Retail business to identify opportunities and risks.
+ Analyzing point of sale, inventory and promotion performance and make recommendations for promotion changes and forecasts.
+ Collaborating with Supply Chain on POS and Shipments forecasts.
+ Leading channel and acct Financial monthly business reviews provide volume forecasts, pricing, and margin analysis.
+ Managing Trade Pro and Alloy reporting systems.
+ In collaboration with Valvoline planning and analysis, developing annual account plans.
+ Reviewing sales, volume/share, and profit at least monthly, to monitor progress and manage P&L to deliver sales and profit objectives.
+ Leading accrual management process recommending adjustments as needed.
+ Leading sales initiatives for a segment of the business, to attain growth targets outlined in the Valvoline Strategic plan.
+ This position will work with Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Sr. Sales Staff to develop strategic and effective selling platforms including price, trade programs, promotions, shipping programs, and marketing support.
+ Delivering outstanding customer service and responsiveness and from time to time, advancing strategic initiatives across the account with Face to face meetings/travel to customer locations and other venues as required to be successful at the above objectives.
**What You'll Need**
+ Bachelors degree.
+ Minimum 5 years in an analytical role and at least 3 years in a Customer facing role.
+ Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage projects and objectives independently.
+ Responsiveness and a high attention to detail are also critical skills to this role.
+ Familiarity with business growth levers including revenue, volume, share, opportunity cost, and return on investment calculations is needed.
+ Ability to think critically and strategically while positioning Valvoline to win in the marketplace.
+ High levels of organization and planning are required as well as a willingness to build better, lasting relationships with the customers.
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
**What Will Set You Apart**
+ Relevant industry/Consumer goods/retail/promotions experience and analytical strength using Microsoft Excel is preferred.
