Abstract

Cp2WH2.AlX3 (X = Cl, Br, iodo; Cp = .eta.5-cyclopentadienyl), Cp2WH2.MXn (M = Zn, Cu, Fe, Co), [(Cp2WH2)2Cu]Cl2, Cp2WH2.MX2.L (M = Zn, Fe; L = THF, DMF) were obtained by reaction of Cp2WH2 with dry metal halides. The nature of the coordination of hydride bonds was confirmed by IR and NMR spectra.
