Abstract

This guide is the result of a collaborative effort among several faculty members: Christopher White, who initiated the project while serving as the Head Tutor of Religious Studies; Faye Halpern of the Harvard Writing Project; and Professors Thomas A. Lewis (Study of Religion and Divinity School), Anne Monius (Divinity School), and Robert Orsi (Study of Religion and Divinity School). Thanks also to Tom Jehn of the Harvard Writing Project and Nancy Sommers, Sosland Director of Expository Writing, for their assistance. The guide was made possible by a Gordon Gray Faculty Grant for Writing Pedagogy.
