Abstract

Lathrobium (s. str.) palanum sp. n. from western Koryakia (Russia: Kamchatka Peninsula) is described and illustrated. A new species is closely related to L. transsibiricum Ryvkin, L. tschucoticum Tichomirova and L. ossorum Ryabukhin, but differs by the shape, proportions and sculpture of the parts of the body. A new species is distinguished from all species of the genus Lathrobium by the shape of aedeagus.
