Abstract

Near Rancho Nuevo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, most turtles, on returning to the sea, made relatively slow and seemingly random movements for 1-2 days, after which they exhibited rapid, directed longshore movement, travelling at least 10km N or S of the nesting beach with indications that some may be travelling much farther.-from Authors
