Abstract

The article focuses on the purpose of creating the Financial Well-Being (FWB), a financial program, by Project Read, a library-based adult literacy program located at the South San Francisco Public Library in San Francisco, California. The FWB was created to be able to offer financial education to the community which is relevant in an economic crisis. The parents are taught on the financial family programming which offers on the different methods on how a parent can teach and motivate children to engage in saving.
