Abstract

The article discusses how archaeology is influenced by the public in the state of Kerala, India. It offers perspectives regarding the public's perception of archaeology in country. It discusses the impact of the liberalization policies adopted by the Indian government from the 1980s and the globalization processes on heritage management and cultural tourism.
