Abstract

Isothermal luminescence (ITL) of γ-irradiated frozen solutions of LiCl follows the first-order rate equation with a time-dependent rate constant of the form k(t) = Btα-1, where B and 0 < {precedes above single-line equals sign} 1 are constants. The integrated form of this rate equation describes accurately the thermoluminescence (RTL) decay with storage time of irradiated sample at constant temperature. © 1984.
