Abstract

The discusses the need to teach students with financial literacy in the U.S. It states that financial literacy is the ability in making informed judgments and effective decisions on the use and management of money. It notes that large number of American adults are considered financially illiterate. It mentions that school librarians play a role to infuse financial skills and knowledge in schools and help in improving financial proficiency for all students.
