Abstract

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry combined with high efficiency capillary liquid chromatography provides high sensitivity and broad dynamic range measurements for the characterization of biological macromolecules in complex matrices, and is an increasingly powerful analytical tool for systems biology research. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2006.
