This work is a floristic survey of the Bignoniaceae in canga vegetation of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil. The family is represented in this region by 13 species distributed in eight genera: Amphilophium (2 spp.), Anemopaegma (2 spp.), Bignonia (1 sp.), Fridericia (3 spp.), Jacaranda (1 sp.), Lundia (1 sp.), Pachyptera (1 sp.), and Pleonotoma (2 spp.). We present descriptions, identification keys, illustrations and comments. A new species, Anemopaegma carajasense, is described and illustrated.
