ZAKAT, INFAQ AND SADAQAH: POVERTY REDUCTION EFFORTS IN INDONESIA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the distribution of zakat, infaq and alms on poverty reduction in Indonesia. The population in this study are all 38 provinces in Indonesia. The sample was taken using criteria, namely provinces that have data related to the research variables so that a sample of 31 provinces was obtained during the 3-year period from 2022 - 2024 so that the data was in the form of panel data. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, processed with the STATA 17 application. Based on the results of the study, it is known that zakat has an effect on poverty, infaq and sadaqah have an effect on poverty. Zakat, infaq and sadaqah simultaneously affect poverty in Indonesia. The conclusion is that both partially and simultaneously zakat, infaq and sadaqah have an effect on poverty in Indonesia.
