Abstract

Working for the US government is often described as a passion—government servants dedicated to serving their country in a meaningful manner and making a difference for their fellow citizens. Whether one is interested in economic, political-military, human rights, international development, trade, or intelligence issues, international relations graduates can find relevant jobs and careers throughout the US government. The essays within this chapter examine the opportunities available throughout government, in the executive and legislative branches, the intelligence community, and in development agencies.
