Evaluating the Issues and Challenges in Context of the Energy Crisis of Pakistan

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to give an overview to the current energy crisis of Pakistan. Pakistan is an energy deficient country and the current power crisis of Pakistan is hampering its economic development. This article investigates the main causes that have led to the current power shortage of Pakistan. An overview is given to the major causes such as ineffective power policies, ineffective distribution system and tariff system that have led to the current power shortage in Pakistan.
