Abstract

The current applications consist of a number of services, of which there are these basic services to which additional services are added, called as the add on services, as per the requirement of the basic services. The application domain of tracking has object identification as one of its basic services. QoS conditions then specified, identify the objects of interest and a number of false identifications. Thus the object identification with false identification may further lead to false tracking. This problem basically arises due to other entities having the shape similar to that of the object of interest. One such entity identified is the shadows of the object of interest. In this paper, removal of these shadows forms the objective which is presented in detail utilizing geometrical method.
