Abstract

Software development and engineering systems require the understanding of Computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) that provides information on how people work together as well as how systems can be successfully designed. The system understanding include knowledge of: toolkits and middleware; computer mediated communication; collaborative workspaces; collaborative information access; collective memory and knowledge distillation; and work management.
