Abstract

This paper first builds a mobile teaching platform based on the teaching mode of MOOC and flipped classroom and designs functional modules such as system management, course transmission, course design and user experience. Then, it analyzes the characteristics of students' learning behaviors using the xgboost algorithm and teaches English in innovative smart classrooms. The mobile teaching platform created for this paper is evaluated in terms of learners' examination and video-viewing behavior. From the learners' examination behavior, the non-perfect score rate gradually declines from the highest value of 41.56% in Chapter 1 to the lowest value of 17.64% in Chapter 5, with a small fluctuation in the last chapters. This shows that the mobile teaching platform for MOOCs and flipped classrooms constructed in this paper can facilitate intelligent English classroom teaching innovation.
