Abstract

Multisubstituted pyrroles with a 2-sulfonamido-group were synthesized through a CuI-catalyzed three-component coupling and a 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0] undec-7-ene (DBU) / silica-gel promoted cyclization under mild conditions in moderate yields. © ARKAT-USA, Inc.
