Abstract
An interview with Jane Harding, deputy vice-chancellor for research and professor of neonatology at the University of Auckland, is presented. Topics discussed include thinking of researchers in New Zealand for the Performance-Based Research Fund (PBRF), contribution of PBRF in the University of Auckland, and comparison between approach of New Zealand with other peer-review-based models such as in Great Britain.
