Abstract

Six new C12polyketides, phomretones A-F (1-6), were isolated from the co-culture ofArmillariasp. and the endophytic fungusPhomasp. YUD17001 associated withGastrodia elata. Neither fungus produced these compounds when cultured alone. The structures of1-6were established on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic analyses, while their absolute configurations were determined by the comparsion of experimental and calculated ECD spectra. Compounds2-4are diastereoisomers of each other and featured high levels of stereoisomerization and oxidation.
