In order to have the benefits of application of both BIM modeling as Lean Construction, studies have been published relating the application of both in synergy. In this context, the aim of this paper is to present a case of application of BIM tools in Production Planning and Control (PCP) in a project of vertical residential construction, supporting the adoption of principles of Lean Construction in the city of Araucaria, Parana. Through the management of the construction process, BIM model was used to provide pull production of productive activities. The researchers worked on drafting the BIM model, the intervention strategy and assistance with the BIM model in construction activities. The results show improvement in both the PCP and for the production team when working with BIM and lean principles. The paper conclude with a proposal for systematic interaction of staff with the BIM model and the Last Planner System in the form of a theoretical framework. Other case studies are being conducted in this research in order to validate the theoretical framework proposed.
