Inspection and Maintenance of Railway Infrastructure with the Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Abstract

The paper discusses the application areas of UAVs and their regulations. Particular attention is paid to the inspection and maintenance of railway infrastructure. The use of UAVs in many railway networks around the world is reviewed. The implementation of autonomous solutions is highlighted.
