Abstract

A 37-year-old sheet metal worker sustained a severe electric shock. He was referred to the Accident Department of the Grimsby General Hospital and discharged home after clinical examination only. Nine weeks later the diagnosis of anterior fracture-dislocation of both shoulders was confirmed by X-rays and open reduction was carried out with considerable difficulty. © 1983.
