This study has aim to determine the effect of optimism, social support (emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and companionship support), and demographic factors (gender, marital status, income, and length of work) to the subjective well-being in nurses. The sample in this study amounted to 227 nurses RSUD Pasar Minggu taken using non-probabililty sampling technique. Test the validity of measuring equipment using confirmatory factor analysis technique (CFA) with the help of software Lisrel 8.70. While the data analysis using multiple regression analysis techniques with the help of software SPSS 22.0. The results show that there is a significant effect of optimism, social support, and demographic factors on the subjective well-being of nurses. The results also show the proportion variance of subjective wellbeing described by all independent variables is 20.2%, while the remaining 79.8% is influenced by other variables outside this study.
