Abstract

Fingerprints and palm plays an important role as the identity of a person, because each person has a different fingerprint. Fingerprint function can be used to diagnose hereditary diseases. According to the research that has developed, a group that has a hereditary disease has the characteristics of certain tendrils. Patterns of surface tendrils palms embryonic form since the age of 13 weeks and has not changed for life. The research method is a descriptive study by observing the pattern type on the fingers and palms on samples taken purposively. Study patterns of surface tendrils palms that have been done show a radial pattern of the loop has the greatest percentage is 40.5%. Percentage radial loop pattern highest on children of blind at 40.5%. Ulnar loop patterns by 39%, amounting to 20.5% whorl and arch pattern 0%. Frequency discovery spiraling pattern on the palm of the hand is and I4 = 55.5% = 60%.
