Abstract

The use of plant growth regulators has an important role for the plant growth and development. The usage of synthetic plant growth regulators can also show similar effects on the plants endogenous synthesized hormones. Therefore the usage some plant growth regulators like auxin, cytokinins, gibberellins, abscisic acid, ethylene and brassinosteroids, salicylic acid, jasmonate polyamines are increasing. Unconscious usage of plant growth regulators could cause some unwanted toxic effects on living mechanisms, in case they are accumulated the ground and underground water. Considering these negative effects on the living mechanisms as well as the expensive usage, we need to think about natural alternative methods which will not hurt the nature. The usage of microorganisms, wounding process, alternative hormone usage, bending, etiolation, gama ray applications could be some examples to the alternative techniques to increase biosynthesis and concentrations of endogenous hormones for the plant growth. These applications allow increased efficiency of growth regulators, therefore the usage drops proportionally
