Uso de dispositivos móviles como herramientas para aprender

Abstract

This research was designed to explore the learning experiences of forty-five students from three graduate programs of three Mexican universities, who used their mobile devices to conduct their studying activities in an e-learning platform. The research is focused on how students perceived the use of mobile devices to build a customized learning experience from anywhere they were. A multiple case research with a qualitative approach was used where students' experiences were documented. We identified three basic aspects: a) students valued the portability of the device to achieve their learning, b) students experienced feelings of comfort and stress elimination when accessing the platform from anywhere and, c) students recognized the potential of mobile technology to achieve their learning goals.
