Abstract

Clostridium tunisiense is a Gram-positive, obligate anaerobe that was first isolated in an anaerobic evironment under eutrophication. Here we report the first genome sequence of the Clostridium tunisiense TJ isolated from drain sedimentof a pesticide factory in Tianjin, China. The genome is of great importance for both basic and application research. © 2012, American Society for Microbiology.
