A case of Recklinghausen's disease is reported. The patient showed numerous disease symptoms from the time of his adolescence such as tumor of the auditory nerve, tumor of the neck and larynx. The tumors of the neck and laryngeal regions were surgically removed; a tumor of the auditory nerve was also followed by removal. With these operative measures the right-sided nystagmus disappeared. The patient is free of symptoms at present.
