A review of recent geodetic strain measurements undertaken by the USGS as part of the Earthquake Studies Programme. Strain accumulation is measured by comparing two or more surveys of a geodetic network. The areas covered include the San Andreas fault, the Basin and Range province, Hebgen Lake (northern Rocky Mountains), the Puget Sound lowlands of the NW and Alaska and Hawaii.-K.Clayton
