Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional dan Perilaku Inovatif terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Guru SD Al-Ikhlas Cipete Jakarta Selatan

Abstract

In today’s dynamic educational landscape, teacher productivity plays a vital role in achieving educational objectives and enhancing student learning outcomes. One of the key challenges faced by schools is ensuring that teachers are not only professionally competent but also emotionally intelligent and capable of adopting innovative teaching strategies. This study aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence and innovative behavior on the work productivity of teachers at SD Al-Ikhlas Cipete, South Jakarta. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to all 29 teachers at the school. A saturated sampling technique was used, as the total population consisted of fewer than one hundred individuals. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The findings reveal that both emotional intelligence and innovative behavior significantly affect teachers’ work productivity, both individually and collectively. Teachers who demonstrate high emotional intelligence and engage in innovative practices tend to perform their tasks more effectively. Based on these results, it is recommended that schools provide training programs focused on developing emotional intelligence and fostering innovation in teaching. These initiatives are expected to create a more adaptive, effective, and productive teaching environment, thereby contributing positively to the overall quality of education.
