ECOPEDAGOGIA E CIDADANIA PLANETÁRIA:

Abstract

A Ecologia Integral exige esforços conjuntos para seu entendimento, recepção e implementação. Nessa perspectiva, os pilares da Ecopedagogia, um movimento aberto e dialógico que propõe novas práticas educativas, oferecem oportunidades concretas para a promoção de atitudes ecotransformadoras em instituições de educação formal e informal, como escolas, catequese e ambientes de acolhida. Ao promover uma educação renovada, a ecopedagogia empodera a pessoa como protagonista de suas ações e mediações. A partir dos textos de origem da Ecopedagogia, e com o auxílio de reflexões de teóricos e textos pastorais que dinamizam o Pacto Educativo Global, o objetivo deste estudo é relacionar os pilares da Ecopedagogia com a reflexão teórica da Ecologia Integral. O intuito é apontar as contribuições que podem surgir dessa fusão para estimular educadores e gestores na implementação de novas concepções de educação e formação integral. Os resultados que se antecipam demonstram a similaridade dos conceitos e a possibilidade de iniciativas que fomentem o cuidado integral, a atuação consciente e a responsabilidade com o bem comum, ou seja, o valor da vida humana e da criação.The Integral Ecology requires joint efforts to be understood, accepted, and implemented. From this perspective, the pillars of Ecopedagogy, an open and dialogic movement to think about new educational practices, offer concrete opportunities to promote eco-transformative attitudes in formal and informal education institutions, such as schools, catechism classes, and care settings. By promoting renewed education, Ecopedagogy empowers people as protagonists of their actions and mediations. Based on the original texts of Ecopedagogy, and with the help of reflections by theorists and pastoral texts that drive the Global Pact for Education, the objective of this study is to relate the pillars of Ecopedagogy to the theoretical reflection of Integral Ecology, pointing out the contributions that can arise from this fusion to encourage educators and managers to implement new concepts of comprehensive education and training. The anticipated results show the similarity of concepts and possible initiatives that foster comprehensive care, conscious action, and responsibility for the common good, that is, the value of human life and creation.
