Abstract

The four-component reaction of cyclobutanone, dibenzylamine and (isocyanoimino)triphenylphosphorane in the presence of aromatic carboxylic acids proceeds smoothly at room temperature under neutral conditions to afford N,N-dibenzyl-1-(5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)cyclobutylamine derivatives in high yields. © 2012 Copyright (CC) SCS.
