LAS GUERRAS CIVILES Y LA NEGOCIACIÓN POLÍTICA: COLOMBIA, PRIMERA MITAD DEL SIGLO XIX

Abstract

Con el objetivo de ampliar los estudios historiográficos que limitan su atención a las matanzas y al horror de la sangre, el artículo hace énfasis en los mecanismos ideados para adelantar negociaciones, acuerdos y transacciones entre hostiles durante las tres primeras guerras de la post independencia. Usa para ello extensas referencias a los comisionados de paz, las exponsiones y el otorgamiento de indultos y amnistías. Abstract With the purpose of expanding the historiographic studies that limit the attention to the killings and the horror of the blood, the article does an emphasis in the mechanisms thought to advance negotiations, agreements and transactions among hostiles during the first three post independence wars. For that it uses extensive references to the agents of peace, the expontions and the granting of pardons and amnesties.
