Analisa Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Menggunakan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Pada Mesin CNC Milling

Abstract

PT. Mata Pelangi Chemindo (MPC) is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that produces pigments. PT Mata Pelangi Chemindo is an example of a manufacturing company in every work process using machines. However this often involves using multiple machines beyond normal limits to achieve production goals. Total Productive Maintenance is a concept that requires involving all employees in product maintenance with the aim of achieving the effectiveness of the entire production system through productive, proactive and systematic participation and maintenance actions. OEE is the result of calculating the effectiveness of completeness as a whole in order to achieve performance/reliability. In the results of the OEE calculation there are three components that affect the availability, performance, and quality. Furthermore, the OEE results obtained are tools with optimal conditions and become the standardization of world-class companies. This research is determined by Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) with the Overall Equipment Effectiveness method which aims as a way of knowing the condition of machine maintenance during production whether it is good or needs to be improved and as a substitute for a solution in a company. in January to March the average value before applying the OEE method was 42.8%. As for the average value obtained from April to June after using the OEE method, it is 82.8%. Based on research that has been done the average value of availability is 95.6%, performance rate is 82.83% and quality rate is 99.63%. from the results of the OEE calculation, the average is 82.8%
