Child labor and public policies. A training experience for situated territorial management

Abstract

This contribution recovers a training experience for territorial promoters carried out in the context of the National Plan for the Prevention and Eradication of child labor and protection of adolescent work 2018-2022. It is of particular interest because within its framework the tension between the approaches and conventions of international organizations and those that seek the construction of local and regional strategies around the realities of the territory was incorporated into the debate. From a cartographic perspective, the main emergents of the experience are characterized and systematized, carried out in a workshop format in order to recover the voices of the participants. Among the main conclusions, it was possible to identify vacancies and build shared meanings regarding child labor from a multidimensional perspective and as a contribution to the construction of situated public policies.
