Polygon

Abstract

Polygon is computer simulation system for casting solidification, pinhol and shrinkage porosity, crystallization cracks, and metal matrix structure in castings. The system provides an operation under following regimes: numerical calculation of feeding and porosity of castings as well as stresses in a solidification interval; thermal proximate analysis; metal matrix strength and hardness calculation (for gray iron); graphic displaying the calculation results; data interfacing with CAD; etc.
