Abstract

Day by day cost of petroleum fuels are increasing and more consumption of fossil fuel leads to rapid drain. Its right time to concentrate on production of the alternate energy source from edible and non-edible oil seeds. Recent trend is that the biomass is converted into bio-fuel and biogases. The following emission characteristic of Hydrocarbon (HC), Nitrogen oxide(NO), Carbon dioxide(CO2), Particulate matters, Carbon monoxide(CO) are investigated in this paper. In this exploration coriander seed oil Methyl ester is prepared by transesterification method using single cylinder VCR engine . Potassium hydroxide is used as catalyst.
