The Virtue of Dentistry as a Learned Profession

Abstract

In having the distinct honor of being the first speaker at this extraordinary event, I am grateful to be in the company of these exceptional individuals brought together to honor Rick Valachovic. I was charged to reflect on how dental education can flourish as a learned profession. I frequently use
