Abstract

The diversity of neuropathologic lesions that can be associated with selected infectious agents that involve the nervous system are summarized in this article. Example from each category of infectious agents are cited, including a general description of salient clinical features, sites of anatomic involvement, and gross and microscopic descriptions.
