Abstract

The distribution ratio for U(VI) between H2O and a nonpolar-org. solvent is greater when a dialkyl phosphoric acid and a compd. such as TBP are used together than the sum of their sep. distribution ratios. Two mechanisms for this synergistic action are proposed. [on SciFinder(R)]
