Abstract
This study aims to analyze the concept of akhlak (morals) in Islamic Education, identify its role in shaping civilized character against contemporary social challenges, and formulate its educational strategies. This qualitative library research gathers data from primary sources (the Qur'an, Hadith, and scholars' works) and secondary literature regarding the phenomenon of moral degradation. Data were analyzed using a critical content analysis approach. The results show that akhlak transcends outward etiquette; it is a manifestation of faith that integrates aqidah, worship, and social interaction to form insan kamil. In the digital disruption era, akhlak acts as a crucial "social immune system" filtering foreign cultural penetration and preventing youth vulnerability. However, an implementation gap exists between theoretical ideals and educational reality, which often still relies on cognitive memorization. The study concludes that Islamic education requires a holistic approach to address the current moral crisis. Strategies must include revitalizing the exemplary role (uswatun hasanah) of educators, proactively integrating moral values within the digital ecosystem, and enforcing systemic collaboration among the family, school, and community to cultivate a generation with ethical autonomy and robust moral resilience.
