Abstract

This Compendium is the result of an EFSA Scientific Cooperation (ESCO) work undertaken by a group of experts identified both by EFSA and Advisory Forum Representatives of the European Member States. During this one-year activity, these experts built up on previous versions of the Compendium, considering information available from a number of existing lists of plants (see Compendium – Sources of Information sheet), and from the scientific literature to fill information in the Compendium. The search for information from the literature ended on 10 March 2009.
