Abstract

From Viburnum awabuki K. Koch (Caprifoliaceae), four new acetyl glucosides of scopoletin, (1), (2), (3) (4), and two lupane-type triterpenes, 6a-hydroxylup-20(29)-en-3-on-28-oic acid (6) and its (7), were isolated. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of physico-chemical evidence, including proton and carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry. © 1986, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
