Abstract

The modern society is in a constant search towards increasing the quality and the efficiency of the sanitary systems. Although many strategies and experiences have been applied, the optimal model has been not found. The application of technology in medicine has played an important role that shall continue in the future. But influence of biomedical technology in the hospital depend of many factors, by this reason is necessary to focus Technology Management in integral manner. In this way, the hospital will be more competitive. In this paper the authors introduce a methodology for Biomedical Technology Management and show the relationship between different functions from this model. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
