This article will present an application case of different optical technologies to the study and analysis of artworks. It will present the results of the capture of the geometry of an statue of the “Virgen del Rebollet” using 3D digitizing technology based on the fringe pattern projection technique, as well as the colorimetric capture via using the RGB pattern projection technique, a process that is integrated in the general process of 3D digitizing. Also, it will be presented the results of the final process for the 3D presentation, using stereoscopic vision systems, that are actually well-known due to its increasingly use for entertainment applications, that are a innovative element for the diffusion and analysis of artworks.
