Abstract

. Coastal and marine areas in Indonesia really need to be studied carefully in the realm of public administration, because apart from having abundant natural resource potential, they also have various problems that need to be handled in an integrated and comprehensive manner, making it an interesting study in public administration. Mangroves are plants whose natural habitat is in coastal areas, so they absolutely require the role of coastal communities, who need empowerment in implementing mangrove management. Thus the sustainability of coastal areas will be maintained due to conservation activities, as well as they can obtain socio-economic benefits. This journal uses qualitative descriptive methods to research the charm of Alor mengrove tourism, mangroves and empowerment related to mangrove management.
