Abstract

With the change of social environment, teenagers' self-identity and psychological well-being have attracted much attention. This article aims to explore the influence of self-identity development on adolescent psychological well-being and intervention strategies. By selecting teenagers from different regions and different age groups as the research objects, the data were collected by questionnaire, interview and case analysis. After processing the data by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis, it is found that the dimensions of adolescent self-identity development (self-cognition, identity and value identification) and psychological well-being indicators (emotional health, psychological resilience and interpersonal relationship) are on the rise with age, and the dimensions of self-identity are significantly positively correlated with psychological well-being indicators, which can positively predict psychological well-being status. Based on this, it is proposed to formulate intervention strategies from family, school and society levels to promote the healthy development of adolescents' self-identity and improve their psychological well-being level.
