Evidências sobre violência e deficiência: implicações para futuras pesquisas

Abstract

Diante as diversas pesquisas acerca da violência realizada em diferentes áreas, o objetivo deste artigo é discutir o fenômeno da violência e suas relações com a deficiência no desenvolvimento humano. Enquanto metodologia foi realizada uma revisão de literatura nos últimos dois anos, destacando-se alguns tipos de violência e suas relações com a deficiência. Como considerações, sugere-se o fomento de pesquisas nesta linha de investigação e a necessidade de maior proximidade de profissionais da área da saúde e educação, com a comunidade, no contexto da prevenção e promoção do desenvolvimento infantil.In light of several studies on violence which have been conducted in different fields of knowledge, this paper aims to discuss the phenomenon of violence as well as its relationship to disability in human development. The methodology consisted in reviewing the literature produced in the past two years, in which some types of violence and their relationship with the disability were highlighted. The considerations point to the need for funding research on this topic as well as bringing health and educational professionals together with the community in the context for prevention and promotion of child development.
